About Best Lawyers

For more than 30 years, Best Lawyers has assisted those in need of legal services to identify the attorneys best qualified to represent them in distant jurisdictions or unfamiliar specialties. Recognition by Best Lawyers is based entirely on peer review. The methodology used is designed to capture, as accurately as possible, the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical and legal practice area. Lawyers may be nominated by anyone other than themselves. Currently recognized attorneys provide feedback on the caliber of the nominated attorney's work. The results are collected and the peer feedback is analyzed. Finally, those determined to meet the criteria are confirmed to be in good standing with their local bar association. * Eric L. Johnson's recognition for Litigation - Banking and Finance is for work done prior to joining Hudson Cook.
