Bob is a partner in the firm's Ann Arbor, Michigan office. Bob helps clients solve complex problems by providing practical advice on legal matters, risk management, and strategy. Bob focuses his practice on regulatory compliance matters related to automotive finance and privacy, and on transactional matters including inventory finance and other commercial lending activity.
Prior to joining the firm, Bob spent over 12 years as corporate counsel to BMW Financial Services where he provided legal advice and support for matters relating to automotive finance and leasing activities, privacy matters (including GLBA, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM), vehicle service contracts and other ancillary products. For many of those years, Bob was responsible for legal support for all BMW commercial mortgage and inventory finance activity in the US and Canada.
Bob received his law degree from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law. He holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
