Hudson Cook, LLP, November 2003 to present. Prior to joining Hudson Cook, LLP, Mr. Rogers was a principal in McNamee, Lochner, Titus & Williams, P.C. from 2001 to 2003, and counsel to that firm from 1998 to 2000. From 1996 to 1998 Mr. Rogers was an officer with KeyBank N.A. and KeyCorp in Albany, where he had regional and national regulatory compliance responsibility. Mr. Rogers was a partner in the Hiscock & Barclay law firm in Syracuse, New York from 1991 to 1995 and was an associate in that firm from 1985 to 1990. Mr. Rogers received an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College in 1973, received his M.B.A. from Clarkson College in 1982, and received his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 1985. Mr. Rogers is a member of the American Bar Association serving on the Consumer Financial Services Committee of the Business Law Section. Mr. Rogers is also a member of the New York State Bar Association serving as chair of the Consumer Financial Services Committee from 2004 to 2007 and from 1993 to 1999 and 2004 to present has served on the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section. He is also a member of the Real Estate Section of the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Rogers concentrates his practice in the areas of banking law and consumer financial services law. He advises banks and other financial institutions regarding consumer financial services issues, licensing, regulatory compliance, legislative matters and documentation. Mr. Rogers is admitted to practice in New York courts, the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
