Partner Catherine Brennan provides 2019 alternative finance prediction for deBanked article

On December 21, deBanked published predictions for the new year from executives in the funding and payments industry, and from attorneys practicing in the small business space. Partner Catherine Brennan said, "We will likely continue to see state efforts to enact disclosures in MCA and small business lending transactions. We will also likely see efforts at the state level to ban practices viewed as aggressive by elected officials. These efforts will lead to a weeding out of the weaker players in the space and will strengthen the companies dedicated to compliance and customer service."

Catherine primarily assists investors in the consumer financial services and alternative business funding sectors. She engages in credit due diligence on behalf of investors in fintech firms, bank partnership platforms, small business lenders, merchant cash advance companies, consumer finance companies, title loan companies and payday lenders.
