Webb McArthur to keynote ADCO March seminar

The Association of Dealership Compliance Officers (ADCO) recently announced that Hudson Cook attorney Webb McArthur will deliver the keynote at the spring conference, March 17-19 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Webb was chosen for his work in the firm's Credit Reporting, Privacy and Data Security practice area, with particular emphasis on his work for clients regarding the new California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

According to ADCO's Founder and CEO, Linda Robertson, "As California goes, so goes the nation' certainly holds true for the auto industry. . . Consumer privacy, data security and credit reporting impact every aspect of dealer operations, from marketing and customer relations management to technology applications and vendor management." Webb's practice primarily involves advising financial institutions, consumer reporting agencies, background screeners, technology and information companies, service providers, and others on compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, California Consumer Privacy Act, General Data Protection Regulation, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and other privacy and data use and protection laws. He recently presented a webinar on CCPA for KPA, which can be accessed on KPA's website.
