Colorado Amends Conveyance of Real Property Deed Requirements

On March 7, 2019, the Governor of Colorado signed House Bill 1098, which amends Colorado's requirements for deeds for the conveyance of real property. HB 1098 amends requirements for title insurance entities that prepare deeds and establishes forms for the preparation of deeds in certain circumstances. The amended requirements apply to deeds for the conveyance of real property that are executed on or after March 7, 2019.
