Eric Johnson and Tom Hudson publish article in RV News: Impatient Consumer Loses Right to Revoke Acceptance of RV

In their monthly article in RV News, Eric Johnson and Tom Hudson present an analysis of Accettura v. Vacationland, Inc., an Illinois RV dealer. A couple verbally revoked acceptance of the RV they purchased, but the dealer refused to return their money. The couple sued Vacationland for revocation of acceptance under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (MMWA), breach of the implied warranty of merchantability under the MMWA and revocation of acceptance and cancellation of the contract under the Illinois version of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). Eric and Tom explain why both the Illinois trial court and the Appellate Court of Illinois found in favor of Vacationland.
