Hudson Cook Partner Rebecca Kuehn to Testify Before U.S. House Committee on Financial Services

Washington, DC - June 6, 2025 - Hudson Cook, LLP is proud to announce that Partner Rebecca Kuehn will testify before the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services on Thursday, June 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. ET.

The hearing, titled "Examining Consumer Privacy: Protecting Americans' Financial Data," will explore the legal and regulatory landscape surrounding consumer financial privacy. Ms. Kuehn was invited to provide testimony that will inform lawmakers on the structure and protections of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), with a focus on how the law governs the handling of sensitive consumer financial information by regulated entities.

Ms. Kuehn's testimony will be designed to help the Committee better understand the existing privacy framework established by the GLBA.
