Hudson Cook Sponsorship Leads to Donation of Furniture to Military Family

For almost ten years, Hudson Cook has been a sponsor of the annual American Financial Services Association's (AFSA) Vehicle Finance Conference. AFSA is the primary trade association for the consumer credit industry, protecting access to credit and consumer choice.

The sponsorship includes a "conference lounge" that features sofas and a coffee table where attendees can relax and meet with Hudson Cook attorneys attending the conference. Since the cost to rent furniture is quite expensive, each year the conference organizers purchase the furniture used in the lounge. After the conference, the furniture is donated to a local charity in the city where the event took place that year. Held in Las Vegas in March, the furniture this year was donated to the Hamm family through Operation Homefront, an organization that assists military families during difficult financial times.

"I'm happy that we can support AFSA in this worthwhile endeavor to support those who have served our country in the cities in which AFSA holds its meetings," said Michael Benoit, chairman of Hudson Cook.
