Partner Eric Johnson's article published in inaugural issue of Dealer Compliance Today magazine

The Association of Dealership Compliance Officers (ADCO), a community established to provide dealership compliance officers with the educational opportunities and resources to build and maintain an effective compliance and ethics program, has published its inaugural issue of Dealer Compliance Today magazine.

Hudson Cook Partner Eric Johnson provided the article, "In Times of Peace, Prepare for War" - a warning to dealerships that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) under Director Kathleen Kraninger is still an active enforcer in the auto dealership space. In addition to the CFPB, the FTC and state regulators have ramped up their efforts in the industry.

Eric assists national and state banks, savings associations, credit unions, mortgage bankers, other licensed lenders, motor vehicles dealers and automotive finance companies in the development and maintenance of nationwide consumer mortgage and automobile finance programs; online motor vehicle sales programs; litigation funding programs; and electronic payment programs. Eric is presenting sessions on federal regulations at the ADCO Dealership Compliance Officer Certification Seminar this fall.
