Patty Covington to be a featured speaker at AIS 2018

Hudson Cook partner Patty Covington will be a featured speaker at the Automotive Intelligence Summit (AIS), July 24-26 in Raleigh, NC. AIS 2018 is an executive-level meeting designed for C-suite leaders in the automotive industry who desire access to the best intelligence, data and analysis available.

Covington will address "The Endless Opportunities to Get and Use Data - Are There Legal Implications?" at 1:30 p.m. on July 24. She will discuss the legal issues businesses should consider when collecting, purchasing, handling, analyzing and using data.

Covington has practiced in consumer financial services for the last 20 years. Before joining Hudson Cook, she served as deputy general counsel for CarMax. She is a Fellow of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers and co-created the National Automotive Finance Association's Consumer Credit Compliance Certification Program and serves as a co-instructor of the program. She is also a founding board member and past president of the National Association of Dealer Counsel.
