GENERAL SESSION
Description
Through an unintended quirk in the FCRA, resellers are regularly sued for alleged errors that they did not create, allowing plaintiffs to "double-dip" on their alleged damages by suing resellers, in addition to the issuing CRAs.
Noah DiPasquale from Troutman Pepper Locke and Rebecca E. Kuehn, of HudsonCook, LLP, will share an update on litigation trends facing resellers and offer strategies for resellers to combat these challenges. Eric Ellman, NCRA President, will join in the discussion.
