Presenters: Erica Kramer and Webb McArthur

Regulations promulgated to implement the California Consumer Privacy Act require that certain disclosures be made reasonably available to consumers with disabilities, and that businesses subject to the CCPA must "follow generally recognized industry standards, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines." We discuss what accessibility of web content means and what it requires, both for purposes of the CCPA and, more generally, under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
