Best Law Firms publishes "true lender" article by Catherine Brennan and Latif Zaman

In the U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers Best Law Firms 2021 publication, Catherine Brennan and Latif Zaman provide an overview of true lender standards in light of the recent Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) proposed True Lender Rule and a recent settlement between the Colorado Attorney General and two fintech lenders. The CO settlement, which effectively describes a "safe harbor" for conducting a bank partnership lending program in the state, is significant in that it could provide a model for other states going forward.
